ABOUT US





Eden Counseling is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Castro Valley serving the community since 2000. Eden’s Vision is one of Safety & Wellness for the community as a whole – Supporting the diverse needs of our clients and the community at large.

Our programs include:

  • An innovative 48-hour Crisis Receiving Home (CRH) for youth (8-17 yrs.)
  • School-Based counseling services at the Castro Valley schools Clinic-Based Outpatient services for the local community
  • Case Management
  • Crisis Support/ Reunification services for youth brought to our Receiving Home.


Therapy Services include: individual, dyadic, family, couples, and group therapy.

EMERGENCY CRISIS SHELTER



Crisis Receiving Home



Our crisis receiving home provides an emergency shelter for at-risk youth who need a temporary space in a safe and peaceful environment.



TRAINING PROGRAM



Training for Associates and Trainees



Eden Provides a comprehensive training program for counseling associates and graduate students. The program includes weekly individual and group supervision, didactic education and a modest stipend in a collaborative cohort environment.

Good Faith Estimate



You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
